Nepalis coming home via 11 flights from abroad today



KATHMANDU: The Nepal government is bringing Nepali people stranded abroad via 11 chartered flights on Wednesday.

According to the schedule, Nepali people are coming from the Gulf countries and Malaysia via five charted flights.

Two flights that took off from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Doha of Qatar with Nepali people on board have landed in Kathmandu.

Nepalis are coming from three charted flights from Doha today itself, a source at the Tribhuvan International Airport said.

The flights of Himalaya Airlines, Nepal Airlines and Qatar Airways are conducting the flights.

Over 21,000 Nepali people stranded abroad due to coronavirus-induced lockdown have been rescued since the Nepal government began the rescue work.
