Sanitation staff in Accham commits suicide after being fired from job



DHANGADHI: The sanitation staff who sprinkled petrol and set himself in fire after being sacked from a job in Bayalpata Hospital, Accham has died while undergoing treatment on Monday.

Siddhartha Ouji of Sanfebagar-6 Bhageswor, who attempted suicide by sprinkling petrol and setting fire on him, died while undergoing treatment in Kohalpur Medical College on Monday.

According to Narapati Bhatta, the In-charge of Area Police Office Sanphebagar, Ouji former sanitation staff of Bayalpata Hospital died while undergoing treatment at Kohalpur Medical College.

Critically injured Ouji was airlifted to  Kohalpur on Monday afternoon.

Ouji who had been working in Bayalpata hospital for more than two years was one of the 33 staff the hospital sacked citing financial crisis.

Fired from the job Ouji had sprinkled petrol and set fire on him as he claimed life was too difficult to go ahead.
