New mother dies at Bhaktapur Hospital, swab sent for test



KATHMANDU: A post-natal woman has died at Bhaktapur Hospital.

A woman hailing from Sindhupalchowk and currently living in Changunarayan Municipality who was admitted following labor pains died on Sunday.

She was undergoing regular health check-up at Kathmandu Medical College. She was admitted to Bhaktapur Hospital for delivery after her the service at the hospital was affected due to coronavirus.

The throat swab sample of the deceased has been sent to the National Public Health Laboratory, Teku and the report is yet to arrive.
