31 more persons test positive for COVID-19 in Argakhanchi 



ARGAKHANCHI: As many as 31 people have been confirmed to have contracted COVID-19 in Argakhanchi district in a single day today.

The infected people have been staying in various quarantine facilities right after returning from Indian cities.

Their swab samples were tested at the provincial public health laboratory, Bhairahawa, said Ganesh Raj Poudel, public health inspector of the district health office.

A search has been launched to trace where the infected people have been staying, he said.

Meanwhile, preparations were underway to take a 19-year-old infected of Sarumarani rural municipality-2 in Pyuthan district to a corona special hospital in Dang, it has been said. The boy stayed in the quarantine facility at Khadkeshwori primary school in the rural municipality.
