NAC conducting chartered flight to Canberra

KATHMANDU: National flag carrier Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is conducting its third chartered flight to Australia on Monday.

A wide body airbus of A330 is conducting a flight service to Canberra, the capital city of Australia.

Kathmandu-Canberra flight has been scheduled for 4:55 pm, said Archana Khadka, the Spokesperson of the NAC.

The Australian Embassy in Kathmandu has charted the wide body flight to take Australians, New Zealanders and some PR holder Nepalis back to their respective destinations, according to Khadka.

The chartered airbus will rescue over 250 passengers stranded due to the lockdown today.

On May 6, the NAC had conducted a chartered flight to Sydney. Similarly, it had conducted the first chartered flight to Brisbane on April 1.
