KMC to conduct classes via radio from Tuesday

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) is set to resume school-level teaching-learning activities from June 27.

Issuing a press note, KMC on Sunday directed the schools to resume classes from Grade 1 to 10 starting Tuesday.

According to the statement, the classes will be conducted via Metro FM 94.6 MHz and the concerned students and guardians have been informed accordingly.

KMC has taken this initiation amidst educational uncertainty induced by the COVID-19 pandemic.

All schools and colleges have been shut down since the Nepal government imposed lockdown on March 24. The examinations of X, XI and XII have not yet been conducted.

Meanwhile, the metropolis has urged students and teachers to participate in the teaching-learning program.
