Chitwan Hotel Association urges tourists to visit Chitwan



CHITWAN: The Regional Hotel Association, Chitwan has urged foreign tourists to visit Chitwan.

Chairman of the Association, Deepak Bhattarai has urged tourists to visit Chitwan as there were no risks of the novel coronavirus in the Chitwan area.

He said that the flow of tourists was decreasing with the rising epidemic of coronavirus in neighboring China.

According to him, about 700 Chinese tourists used to visit Chitwan on a daily basis last year. The number, he said, has dropped significantly reaching below 250 this year.

Bhattarai said the season is appropriate for visiting Chitwan but less number of tourists are seen in the district this season.

He urged all concerned to spread a positive message to the world that there was no threat of coronavirus in Nepal.
