Weather change to bring rainfall for three days



KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has forecast weather change and rainfall for the coming three days owing to a westerly low-pressure belt.

Issuing a special weather bulletin on Thursday, the Division said the country will have effects of a low-pressure belt from Friday afternoon.

Currently, the hilly region in the country has partial weather change, while other places have normal weather. Few places in the hilly region will have light rains with the weather changes in the night.

On Friday, the hilly region will witness general weather change. Similarly, high-hill and mountainous regions in the western belt of the country will have light snowfall.

The light rainfall is forecasted in some places in the hilly region on Saturday too.
