Indian national arrested in Nepal for hundi transaction

BIRGUNJ: Police have arrested an Indian national on the charge of his involvement in illegal money transfer called hundi.

Raj Kumar Shrivastav, 49, of Motihari in the Indian state of Bihar was nabbed with Rs 445,000 from Birgunj-16, Rajat Jayanti Chowk during a security check on Tuesday.

Police also confiscated a scooter with Indian registration number, BR 1 CK 9796, he was riding.

The law enforcement agency said they are further investigating the case.
