Govt moving on right track towards development: DPM Pokhrel

KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Ishwor Pokhrel today claimed that the government was moving ahead on the right track towards development and prosperity by clearing all contradictions existing in the practice and needs.

He said that the formulation of the plan, its implementation, monitoring, and evaluation will be carried out with effective resource mobilization in tandem with the participation of all three layers of government for development and prosperity.

Speaking at a program in Kathmandu today, Minister Pokhrel referred to the lack of cohesion between laws, structures, and policies in the changed system.

He added that there were still come grievances in service delivery even though industry, agriculture, energy, tourism, and infrastructure sectors have been prioritized for development.

In another context, he said that the country can accept the support of any country if it is in Nepal’s national interests.
