US-Iran tension: Seven Nepalis return home from Iraq

KATHMANDU: With the US-Iran tension escalating, American Base Camp in the capital city Baghdad has started sending Nepali migrant workers back home.

As of Monday, seven Nepali migrant workers have returned home from Iraq in view of security.

Around 200 Nepali migrant workers are working at the base camp.

The base camp is sending back Nepali migrant workers except essential staffers after the tension between Iran and US ran high.

The camp is at high risk from the point of security.
