Province 1 witnesses 80 more cases of coronavirus

BIRATNAGAR: Province 1 witnessed 80 cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Social Development of Province 1, out of 710 samples tested in various labs in the province, 57 males and 23 females tested COVID-19 positive today.

The Ministry informed the province saw 26 new coronavirus cases in Morang, 22 in Jhapa, 10 in Sunsari, seven in Ilam, three each in Sankhuwasabha and Taplejung, and one case in Panchthar in the past 24 hours. There have been eight new cases in Province 1 from outside the province.

The province got 96 people discharged from various isolation centers today.

With this, the number of discharged cases in the province has reached 23,246 by now.
