Person arrested with 20 kg opium



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested Resham Bahadur Tamang, 37, from Khaniyawas Ruralmunicipality -2 of Dhading with 20 kg opium.

Police arrested Tamang from Adamghat in Gajuri ruralmunicipality-6 of Dhading on Tuesday.

Chief of the Area Police Office, Gajuri, and DSP Bishwaraj Khadka said that he was arrested on the basis of special information that drugs were being traded in Adamghat.

The arrested Tamang was made public by the police at a press conference on Wednesday. Police also recovered 20 kg and 800 grams of opium and a mobile phone from Tamang.
