Sexagenarian woman succumbs to COVID-19 at KIST Hospital



KATHMANDU: A 69-year-old woman has died in the course of treatment at KIST Hospital in Lalitpur on Wednesday morning.

The sexagenarian had been hospitalized to KIST Hospital after being diagnosed with the virus on October 3.

Originally from Balaju, the woman was suffering from fever, hypertension and a complication in her urinary tract system, said Chief Operating Officer of the hospital, Amish Pathak.  She was being treated on a ventilator after she suffered from respiratory complications.
