Two more succumb to coronavirus at Butwal COVID Hospital

RUPANDEHI: Two additional people have died from coronavirus in the course of treatment at Butwal COVID Special Hospital on Wednesday morning.

The deceased are a 76-year-old man of Sunwal municipality-5, Nawalpur and a 55-year-old woman of Butwal Sub Metropolitan City-9, according to the hospital administration.

The septuagenarian man who tested positive for coronavirus was suffering from high blood pressure and chronic asthma, said Dr Bishnu Gautam, the information officer of the hospital.

The elderly died at 12:50 am today, said Gautam. Similarly, the 55-year-old woman of Butwal died at 5 am. She was suffering from dry cough and high blood pressure.

She had tested positive for the coronavirus on last Saturday.
