Shekhar Koirala flays govt for turning deaf ears to Dr KC’s demands

KATHMANDU:  Nepali Congress Leader Dr Shekhar Koirala has urged the government to address the demands of Dr Govinda KC at the earliest.

Posting a twitter message Wednesday morning, Koirala criticized the state for turning deaf ears to the demands of Dr KC and becoming ruthless.

Koirala in his tweet has asked what more can be expected from the state when the demands of a selfless medical sector crusader falls on deaf years.

The health condition of Dr KC, who has been staging a fast-unto-death demanding reforms in the medical education sector for the last 24 days at TU Teaching Hospital, is getting worse.

Level of oxygen in his blood is getting low but he has been denying treatment from the doctors.
