KATHMANDU: A recent survey carried out by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) has shown that employees working in various companies and other associations in Nepal receive in average Rs 20,000 in monthly salary.
According to a report unveiled recently, an employee’s average monthly salary is put at 20,543.
A total of 1709,000 employees are currently working in various companies and organizations across the country, according to the report.
The monthly salary of an employee working in big companies is put at Rs 26,700 (in average), Rs 25,800 in the middle-size institutes and Rs 16,768 in small companies. The average monthly salary of those working in micro companies is Rs 16,100.
The salary difference between the big and small companies is almost Rs 10,000.
