One more dies from COVID-19 in Siraha



KATHMANDU: A 65-year-old man died from COVID-19 while undergoing treatment at Janakpur Provincial Hospital on Sunday night.

The deceased has been identified as a resident of Mirchaiya Municipality, Ward No. 5.

According to the District Health Office, Siraha, he died at around 9:30 pm.

He was tested positive for pandemic virus on Friday and was being treated on a ventilator after he was found to have respiratory problems.

Earlier, he was admitted to Phulkumari Memorial Hospital, Karjanha.

He had also suffered high blood pressure and diabetes.

With this, the number of deaths due to virus in Siraha has reached 9. In Mirchaiya municipality alone, three people have lost their lives due to coronavirus.
