Two swept away by rivers



MYAGDI: A woman was swept away by the Ghark river at the border of Annapurna rural municipality-5 and 6 in Myagdi district.

Tikamati Pariyar of the rural municipality was swept away last evening while crossing the river, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Kiran Jung Kunwar.

A search has been launched for Pariyar.

Likewise, a 13-year-old boy was swept away by Seti river in Doti district.

Arjun Khadayat was swimming when the incident occurred, said Janak Raj Pandey, chief of the district police office, Doti, adding that a search has been launched for the missing boy.
