NC calls emergency CC meeting to discuss pandemic situation



KATHMANDU: Amid the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the country, Nepali Congress, the main opposition party in the parliament, has called its central committee meeting on Monday.

According to Nepali Congress sources, the party will discuss the coronavirus pandemic, and the government’s lack of effective efforts to stem it.

Lambasting the government for its poor performance and poor preparation for the control of COVID-19 pandemic, NC has decided to go for the thorough discussion about the performance.

Krishna Prasad Paudel, the chief secretary of the party informed that the CC meeting is scheduled for 2 PM, Monday.
