Parsa scraps its former decision to let the businesses operate alternatively



BIRGUNJ: The District Administration Office Parsa has issued a notice withdrawing its Wednesday’s decision to let the business activities operate in Parsa.

Issuing a notice on Sunday, District Administration Office, Parsa has notified all that the decision to let the businesses run alternatively has been scrapped.

A meeting of the District Security Committee held on Friday had concluded that both the entrepreneurs and the public failed to abide by the mandatory security and safety provisions.

Lalit Kumar Basnet, the Assistant Chief District Officer of Parsa confirmed that the District Security Committee withdrew its decision of letting the businesses operate alternatively.

“After reviewing the 2 days of easing the lockdown, we felt we need to rethink the decision to let it open and decided to shut it again,” Basnet said sharing the meeting’s conclusion.

The notice issued by the District Administration Office, Parsa on Sunday says that the meeting felt reopening the businesses could intensify the risk as the cases were increasing daily, hence, the decision to let the business operate alternatively has been scrapped.
