Driver of Bardiya CDO tests coronavirus positive



BARDIYA: A driver of the Chief District Officer of District Administration Office, Bardiya has been tested positive for COVID-19.

A PCR test conducted at Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj has shown positive result for the pandemic virus.

He had come to Kathmandu to pick up the new CDO Liladhar Adhikari and drop the outgoing CDO Premlal Lamichhane in Kathmandu two days back.

However, according to CDO Adhikari, outgoing CDO Lamichhane has tested negative for the virus.

The 55-year-old driver has been kept in isolation at the District Coordination Hall in Gulariya.
