Youth in police custody tests COVID-19 positive



GORKHA: Gorkha has reported coronavirus cases for the first time.

Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 10 people including a 17-year-old youth in the custody of the District Police Office, Gorkha.

The infected people are 25, 32, 20, 43, 30, 30, 21, 31 and 23-year-old men of Gandaki Rural Municipality, said Dr. Binod Bindu Sharma, Spokesperson of Gandaki Province Coronavirus Control and Prevention Program.

According to the Health Office, Gorkha, nine of them are from India and are staying in various quarantines while one is in police custody.
