32 police personnel infected with coronavirus so far



KATHMANDU: A total of 32 police personnel have been infected with the coronavirus throughout the country so far.

Among them, 22 are those deployed in Province 2.

The number of infected cops has reached 32 after the report of two more policemen came positive yesterday (Saturday).

Of the infected, 14 have recovered and are under home quarantine. The rest are being treated in isolation at various hospitals, said Nepal Police Spokesperson Niraj Bahadur Shahi.

Province 2 Police Chief DIG Dhiraj Pratap Singh said that 22 people, including a Police Inspector stationed in his area, have contracted the infection and seven of them have recovered.
