KATHMANDU: A two-month infant has become the youngest person to be infected with COVID-19 in Nepal.
Dr Bikash Devkota, Spokesperson at Ministry of Health and Population on Wednesday said 17 more persons have been infected with COVID-19 in Parsa district. The total number of coronavirus-infected people has reached 99 in Nepal so far.
While 7 of them are female, 10 are male ranging from two months to 66 years of age.
Similarly, the age of 10 males are 2 months, 3 years, 9 years 12 years, 13 years, 14 years, 17 years, 40 years, 45 years, and 66 years.
Likewise, the age of 7 females are 6 months, 13 years, 13 years, 29 years, 32 years, 35 years, and 62 years.
Meanwhile, it should be noted that 22 out of the 99 persons receiving treatment for COVID-19 have returned home after recovery.
