France reports 25,531 deaths, 170,551 infection cases



KATHMANDU: France has reported 330 deaths in the last 24 hours taking to death toll to 25,531 deaths as of Wednesday morning.

According to reports, the number of infection cases has surged to 170, 551 after 306 new cases were reported.

Currently, 92, 284 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 3, 430 are critical. Meanwhile, 52, 736 have returned home after recovery.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 212 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 258,003 and infecting 3,724,144 people as of Wednesday morning.
