APF Inspector dragged to court for graft

KATHMANDU: A case has been filed against an Inspector of Armed Police Force (APF) Khagendra Chapagain for graft.

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) filed the case against him at the Special Court in Kathmandu on Friday for receiving Rs 50,000 bribe from a service seeker.

CIAA Spokesperson Pradeep Kumar Koirala said that Chapagain received the kickback during his deployment at a Border Outpost in Jhapa district.
