Coronavirus death toll climbs to 560

KATHMANDU: The coronavirus outbreak has killed 560 people and infected over 28,000 worldwide, the majority of which are in China, CNN reported.

It has spread to over 25 countries and territories and infected 250 and killed two people.

The reported said close to 60 million people remain under lockdown in China, with three cities reporting over a thousand confirmed cases.

Meanwhile, thousands of people are being quarantined on two cruise ships, docked in Japan and Hong Kong, after former passengers were confirmed to have the virus.

World Health Organization (WHO) has already declared coronavirus as the global health epidemic.
