Two drug peddlers held with narcotic drugs



POKHARA: Kaski Police has rounded up two drug peddlers for trafficking in banned drugs in Kaski district.

Acting on a tip-off, a squad of ward police office, Ram Bazaar arrested 21-year-old Anup Tamang of Pokhara Metropolitan City-13 and Bishal Pariyar, 19, of Pokhara Metropolitan City-27.

Tamang and Pariyar were held during a security check while they were trafficking in narcotic drugs on a motorcycle.

Meanwhile, police seized 280 ampules of narcotic drugs including 94 ampules of diazepam, 94 ampoules of morphine, and 92 ampules of Phenergan from their possession.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the drug peddlers into custody.
