WASHINGTON: Democratic candidate Joe Biden has taken the lead in Pennsylvania over President Donald Trump.

Biden took the lead in Pennsylvania with 95 percent of votes counted, according to BBC.

If Biden wins Pennsylvania, he wins the presidency.

He has taken the lead in Georgia with 99 percent of votes counted so far.

Biden has also a slender lead in Arizona and Nevada.

President Donald Trump has, meanwhile, asserted he has won the election.

He has complained of “tremendous corruption and fraud in the mail-in ballots”, without any concrete evidence.

The Trump team is pressing legal challenges in several states.
