Gandaki Province COVID-19 death toll hits 100



POKHARA: COVID-19 death toll in Gandaki Province has hit 100 after four death reported in the last 24 hours.

According to the Provincial Health Directorate, Pokhara, a 29-year-old man from Jaimini Municipality-9 of Baglung died at the Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences last night.

The man who was confirmed infected on October 26 also had pneumonia.

Similarly, a 57-year-old man of Pokhara-10 died at the same hospital last night. The man who was confirmed to have COVID-19 on October 2, had pneumonia and high blood pressure.

Likewise, a 30-day-old boy from Pokhara succumbed to the pandemic.

The baby who was suffering from respiratory problems and pneumonia died at the Western Regional Hospital under the Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences on Friday afternoon.

Meanwhile, a 75-year-old man from Pokhara-17 died at Gandaki Medical College on Friday morning. He was confirmed infected on October 30.
