Six more NC Central Committee members test COVID-19 positive



KATHMANDU:  Six more Central Committee Member of Nepali Congress(NC) have tested coronavirus positive in the last 24 hours.

According to NC’s Central Office, among the 82 swabs collected from NC Central Committee Members and the staff at the party office on Thursday.

Out of 82 swabs,  six turned coronavirus positive.

The source informed that Surendra Pandey, Shyam Ghimire, Kiran Yadav, Sujata Pariyar, Nasir Sidhdhiki, and Krishna Kishor tested coronavirus positive.

In addition to it, one of the security personnel and a driver have also tested COVID-19 positive.

Central Committee Member Min Bahadur Bishworkarma who had tested coronavirus positive on October 17,  is still undergoing treatment in ventilator in Dhapasi based Grande Hospital.

NC had postponed its Central Committee Meeting dreading the pandemic might spread worse.

The meeting rescheduled for today has again been rescheduled for November 9 hoping to seek consensus between the leaders by then.
