CPC extends sorrow over demise of Sita Mahara



KATHMANDU: Communist Party of China (CPC) has extended sorrow over the demise of Sita Mahara, wife of former Speaker of House of Representatives (HoR) Krishna Bahadur Mahara.

The Foreign Affairs Department of the CPC has sent a condolence letter to Mahara expressing deep sorrow over his spouse’s untimely death and extending condolences to the bereaved family.

Sita Mahara died of COVID-19 on Wednesday morning while undergoing treatment at Norvic International Hospital in Kathmandu.
