Two COVID-19 infected women die in Biratnagar

BIRATNAGAR: Two coronavirus-infected women have died in the course of treatment in Biratnagar on Friday morning.

The deceased are as a 32-year-old woman from Dhankuta and 51-year-old woman from Biratnagar.

The patient from Dhankuta died in the course of treatment at COVID-19 Treatment Center of Koshi Hospital at 8:15 am today.

She had been admitted to the Center on Thursday evening after her PCR test report came out positive on the same day, informed Gyan Bahadur Basnet, the manager of the Center.

Similarly, the 51-year-old woman of Biratnagar Metropolitan City-7, died while undergoing treatment at Neuro Hospital at 8 am today, said Suresh Acharya, the administrative officer of the hospital.

She had been admitted to the hospital on Wednesday after being diagnosed with the virus.
