KATHMANDU: The health conditon of Nepal’s celebrated comedian Manoj Gajurel, who is undergoing treatment for COVID-19, is critical.

Gajurel had tested positive for COVID-19 on October 26.  He had been self-isolating since he tested positive for the virus.

He was hospitalized to Balambu-based Armed Police Force Hospital on Wednesday after his condition deteriorated, according to his family sources. He is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.

He had informed the public about diagnosis of coronavirus in him through social networking sites.

Out of 101 COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment at AFP Hospital, six are being treatment on ventilator while 18 including Gajurel are receiving treatment at ICU, said Prabin Nepal, the spokesperson of the hospital.
