RSS Correspondent Sitaram Barma passes away



KATHMANDU: Dhading district correspondent of Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) Sitaram Barma has passed away.

Despite winning the battle against COVID-19, Barma, 79, breathed his last in the course of treatment at Gwarko-based KIST Medical College in Lalitpur this morning.

Barma had been suffering from high blood pressure and pneumonia.

Founder President of Federation of Nepalese Journalists, Dhading chapter, Barma had been honored with the title of press freedom fighter by Press Council Nepal.

Barma is survived by his wife, one son and three daughters.
