Two Nepali nationals die in Kuwait road mishap



DOHA: Two Nepali migrant workers have died in a road accident in Kuwait.

The deceased have been identified as Deepak Singh Thakuri of Jajarkot and Pal Bahadur Pun whose address is yet to be established, informed Nepali Embassy in Kuwait.

The accident took place while they were returning to their apartment from the CGGC Company based in Kuwait.

According to the Embassy, the company’s bus in which they were traveling had collided head-on with a cargo truck coming from the opposite direction.

Critically injured Thakuri and Pun passed away in the course treatment on November 4 and 5, respectively.

Preparations are underway to send the bodies to Nepal in coordination with the company, said the Embassy.
