India’s COVID-19 cases cross 8.4 million mark

KATHMANDU: India recorded 47,622 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 8,411,034.

Currently, 521,242 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 7,764,763 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 125,000-mark.

With675 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 125,029, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
