KATHMANDU: Some of the government websites have gone offline after a storage crash in the server of the National Information Technology Center (NITC).

Recovery work is being done and some websites have resumed.

Center spokesperson Ramesh Prasad Pokharel stated that data recovery work is underway. He said that 80 percent recovery has been achieved so far.

The center, which manages more than 4,000 government websites, said 25 percent of the websites had such problems.

There is a problem of not loading the websites of the Ministry of Finance, Public Procurement Monitoring Office and Company Register among others.
