NCP Secretariat meeting underway in Baluwatar

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Secretariat has begun at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar on Tuesday evening. The meeting will be discussing Cabinet reshuffle and completing the remaining works of the party unity.

The meeting is taking place today following the agreement between Prime Minister KP Oli and NCP Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal yesterday.

The Secretariat meeting is likely to finalize names of new ministers including the finance minister to the vacant ministries.

Even though the Secretariat meeting was called for Saturday itself, it was postponed for Sunday citing lack of preparation.

The meeting could not take place even on Sunday after Prime Minister’s four advisors and security personnel tested positive for the coronavirus.
