NCP Secretariat meeting likely to induct 3 ministers today

KATHMANDU: Ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) is holding its Secretariat meeting on Tuesday.

The Secretariat meeting, which was postponed twice in the past, is taking place at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar at 4 pm, said NCP Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s secretariat.

The meeting is taking place today following the agreement between Prime Minister KP Oli and NCP Chairman Dahal yesterday.

The Secretariat meeting is likely to appoint ministers including finance minister to the vacant ministries.

Even though the Secretariat meeting was called for Saturday itself, it was postponed for Sunday citing lack of preparation.

The meeting could not take place even on Sunday after Prime Minister’s four advisors and security personnel tested positive for the coronavirus.
