Damak municipality mayor tests positive for COVID-19



JHAPA: Mayor of Damak municipality Romnath Oli has tested positive for coronavirus.

Oli was diagnosed with the virus on Monday, according to chief executive officer of the municipality Ganesh Timalsina.

His wife Lila and son Anil have also been infected with the COVID-19.

With the diagnosis of the virus, Oli has been admitted to Amda Hospital, informed Timalsina.

Damak municipality has been closed for four days after the mayor tested for the virus.
