COVID-19: Man under home isolation dies in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: A sexagenarian COVID-19 patient under home isolation in Kathmandu succumbed to the pandemic on Saturday.

A 68-year-old man of Bijeshwori in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-15 died of the coronavirus infection at around 5 pm yesterday.

Spokesperson of the Kathmandu Metropolis, Ishwarman Dangol, said the infection was confirmed on him on Wednesday while undergoing a PCR test at the Patan Academy of Health Sciences.

The body of the deceased has not been managed yet.

“The Nepal Army has been informed. The body will be managed today,” Dangol added.
