Gandaki Police Chief DIG Aryal diagnosed COVID-19 positive



POKHARA: Gandaki Province Police Chief DIG Ghanshyam Aryal has been diagnosed positive for the coronavirus.

Dr. Binod Bindu Sharma, Director of the Province Health Directorate Gandaki, said that his report came positive for the pandemic on Sunday morning.

His sample was collected based on contact tracing, Sharma added.

Coronavirus among security personnel has been increasing of late.

Meanwhile, as many as 69 persons in Gandaki Province have tested positive for COVID-19 in various laboratories in the last 24 hours.

According to Directorate, 22 persons in Syangja, 20 in Kaski, 13 in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East), seven in Tanahun, three in Baglung, two each in Lamjung and Gorkha have been infected from the pandemic virus.
