Three women cricketers with visual impairment honored



KATHMANDU: Cricket Association of the Blind Nepal has honored three women cricketers with visual impairment. They are Bhagawati Bhattarai Baral, Mankeshi Chaudhary and Asha Regmi.

The association on Wednesday on the occasion of its 15th anniversary honored the three women cricketers with ‘Jyoti KC Blind Women Cricket Talent Award’. The award carries a purse of Rs 5,000 each.

Bhattarai is captain of the National Blind Women Cricket Team while Manakeshi is popular for best bating. The Association celebrates its anniversary on August 6 every year.
