Youth arrested on the charge of raping sister



OKHALDHUNGA: A youth has been arrested on the charge of raping his sister.

The 17-year-old from Champadevi rural municipality was arrested by police following complaints by the girl’s mother.

The 17-year-old girl is the daughter of the boy’s uncle.

Further investigation into the incident is underway, police inspector Milan Basnet at the District Police Office said.

The incident came to light after the girl shared the incident with her mother, who reported the matter to police on Sunday.

The incident took place on June 29, when the girl was reportedly alone at home.
