Coronavirus kills 35, 047, infects 646,006 in Brazil



KATHMANDU: The death toll in Brazil has reached 35, 047 from Coronavirus in the last five months. According to Worldometer, the death toll has reached 35, 047 after 1,008 new deaths were reported.

With 30,136 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 646,006 as of Saturday morning.

Currently, 322,307 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 8,318 are critical. Meanwhile, 288,652 have recovered after treatment.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 213 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 398,146 and infecting 6,844, 796 people as of Saturday morning.
