Rainy weather to continue till Sunday morning



KATHMANDU: Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has predicted rainy weather until Sunday morning.

The low pressure weather system caused by Nisarga Cyclone arriving from the Arabian Sea coupled with westerly winds are causing rain in various parts of the country, said MFD.

The rain which began on Friday is occurring in most parts of the country.

According to MFD, Dhangadhi has recorded the highest rainfall with 74.9 millimeters followed by Biratanagar with 38.7 and Dipayal with 27.1 millimeters, respectively.

Rains compounded with thunderstorms and lightning are likely in some parts of Pradesh 1, 2, Bagmati Pradesh and Gandaki Pradesh today.

Likewise, snowfall is predicted in high mountainous regions of the country.
