Two persons impersonating as doctors arrested



JHAPA: A team deployed from the Area Police Office, Karkarbhitta, arrested two people in Kakarbhitta, who reached the eastern town from Kathmandu, impersonating themselves as doctors.

Police arrested Dil Kumar Shrestha, 33, and Ganesh Adhikari, 28 from Kakarbhitta. Police also confiscated fake identity cards named as Dr Binod Shrestha.

They reached to Kakarbhitta using a car bearing registration number BA 7 Cha 7011 claiming that they came to Jhapa to operate a health camp.

Police arrested them after they failed to produce the registration number of Nepal Medical Council, accordingto SP Krishna Prasad Koirala, District Police Office, Jhapa.

SP Koirala said that they had come to Jhapa in search of illegal drugs.
