Coronavirus suspect who fled Teku hospital admitted to BPKIHS in Dharan



DHARAN: A coronavirus suspect who escaped from the Kathmandu-based Shukraraaj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital has been admitted to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) on Thursday.

The patient, who had returned from South Korea, was admitted to the Teku-based hospital on Wednesday and had fled the hospital on the same night.

Police found him that he had reached Dharan through a flight.

“He came to BPKIHS along with wife after reaching his house in Dharan from Kathmandu through a flight,” a police officer at Area Police Office, Dharan told Khabarhub, “He has been admitted to the isolation ward at the hospital.”
